Vishnu Tambi, Co-Founder & CEO, is a seasoned entrepreneur, angel investor, and mentor with nearly two decades of experience in the USA and over a decade in India. Holding a master’s degree in computer science from the USA, he’s the CEO of Excellon Software, a Nagpur-based product company.

Excellon, which he co-founded two decades ago, is now a leading cloud-based SaaS provider serving large enterprises globally, spanning 90+ countries. As a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship, he mentors startups and invests in promising ventures. Additionally, he’s actively involved in social initiatives dedicated to community and urban development.

Vinod Tambi

Vinod Tambi, Co-Founder & President, is the Co-Founder and President of Excellon Software. With a rich experience of over 35 years in the software, trading, and manufacturing industries, he is a seasoned entrepreneur. His expertise lies in business development, business processes, business management, sales, customer relationship management (CRM), and software as a service (SaaS).

Vinod has successfully managed large teams that created innovative software products. He has a strong operations background and in-depth knowledge of emerging markets, sales, distribution, and services. Before Excellon, he co-founded and served as the CEO of a manganese-based chemicals manufacturing company. Under his leadership, the company successfully transitioned from a gestation stage to stability. He was responsible for managing process design, plant design And construction, recruitment, and compliance. Overall, Vinod Tambi’s presence brings great insights, passion, and thorough industry knowledge.

Amit Deshpande

( Chief Operating Officer )

Amit Deshpande, Chief Operating Officer, is a dynamic leader with 25+ years of global experience in information technology. He has helped several multi-million dollar companies worldwide in executing multi-location deliveries and transformation strategies.

His core competencies include – Revenue Maximization, Engineering and People Management, Account Management, Operational Efficiency and Effectiveness, Process Improvements, Organizational Design and Development. Also, he has been responsible for leadership and strategy whilst helping large teams of IT professionals deliver a range of Product Engineering and Services/Support across diverse business domains in multiple geographies.

He has also independently founded, grown, and nurtured a Product Engineering Services Company for 7 years. It was later successfully merged into a large organization.
